Voices Under Berlin

This shop is full of things to help keep the memories of Army Security Agency Field Station Berlin fresh in your mind. For more memories of Field Station Berlin, you may want to read "VOICES UNDER BERLIN: The Tale of a Monterey Mary," where the 9539th does to the Secret Cold War what the 4077th did to the Korean War. "Voices Under Berlin: The Tale of a Monterey Mary" is a novel about one of the early skirmishes of the Cold War told with a pace and a black humor reminiscent of that used by Joseph Heller ("Catch-22") and Richard Hooker ("MASH"). It is set against the backdrop of the CIA cross-sector spy tunnel operation in Berlin in the mid-1950s. "Voices Under Berlin" was selected as The Military Writers' Society of America (MWSA) Novel of the Month for September 2009, and was an award winner at the 2008 Hollywood Book Festival.
