The Mandala Lady > Mandala of the Week #17: Bowling for Sunshine
While taking a color pencil class, where each of us works on our own projects with guidance and tutelage from the instructor and fellow class mates, I decided to play with watercolor pencils. This mandala was my second painting from that experimentation.
I named it "Bowling for Sunshine" because when I looked at the finished painting, the sun appeared separate from its rays. The innermost set of rays reminded me of bowling pins and the sun a bowling bowl about to knock them down. From there the name just became obvious.
The message for this mandala: Bright is my spirit, shining my light over all that I am.
