The Inner Tubes mandala is one of a series of 21 asymmetry mandalas created over a 3 week period in autumn of 2007. It consists of only 3 lines overlapping each other with a spiral in the middle. Many of my asymmetry mandalas come about by drawing in-the-moment, inspired doodles. This version reminds me of the charm and simplicity of floating down the river with friends on a warm summer afternoon in our bright color "Inner Tubes".
