The Mandala Lady > Mandala of the Week #1: Re

This is one of the first mandala designs I created; it's pronounced 'rah'. It was inspired by the hieroglyphs I saw on the ceiling of Hathor's Temple in Dendara, Egypt. It depicts the sun with pulsating rays coming out from it.

Re 3 - lights/darks In this version, I chose pastel colors and put in a dark blue (indigo) background with star...give it a starry night look to it. I used color pencils to paint this version of the Re mandala design.	Re 4 - lights/darks In this version, I chose to play with alternating three colors: pink, green and blue. I used color pencils to paint this version of the Re mandala design.
