It was Spring or Autumn when most these photos where taken. But In Tel-Aviv, it's almost always sunny.

Israel, with it's sub-tropic climate, has rainy days as well, but the weather in Tel-Aviv is relatively warm most of the year, as in a few other Israeli cities.

They call Tel Aviv "The White City", but it is colorful when looking from the right direction - which I did on my pictures. Sharing the best of my photo collection, is also sharing the way I see it. And this gift shop, being dedicated to the city I love, is somewhat blue for that reason. White and blue are also the colors of Israel, you know.

Some of the location I decided to include:
* Dizengoff Center mall, in the heart of Tel Aviv
* Yitzhak Rabin Square (Kikar Rabin) and Tel Aviv city hall
* The Beach (will be added in a few weeks).

Notice the first two having both 70's architecture and a complex political context. Best to express how I see Tel Aviv, growing up here, being a child in the '70-80. These, of course, were also natural photo opportunities, waiting to be printed on t-shirts and other gifts.

You will have to enlarge some of the photos, especially the ones showing Tel-Aviv city hall during the "Tel Aviv Profile" exhibition ( ). Kind of rare pictures, since this beautiful project is over now.

Jerusalem, the holy city, is the capital of Israel. But Tel-Aviv is certainly the cultural capital, with it's fascinating nightlife, clubs and opera, museums and cafes. It's a cosmopolitan city, ticking 24/7. There are lots of places to visit if you travel Israel and come to Tel Aviv, aside from the great beach with the pretty girls with minimal clothing.

There are lots of inexpensive charter flight to Israel now, packed with nice hotels as vacation packages too. If you come here around May or June you could find a nice off-season bargain. So do!
And be sure to avoid local souvenir shops...

Meanwhile, I suggest you buy some of my stuff here, so I could make an honest living :)
