Greyt Expectations Greyhound Rescue,(tm)Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), greyhound adoption organization specializing in personal service in a friendly, relaxed, and informative atmosphere. We make forever home matches for these fantastic dogs who have long lifespans (12-15yrs). We are a people friendly, education-based group committed to making the most successful matches of personality and lifestyle, but will gladly work with your personal preferences whenever possible. We answer your phone calls personally and make make every effort to answer all inquiries within hours! We won't keep you wondering and usually turn around an application within 2-3 days! We will bring you into the process so you aren't intimidated or left waiting. You are invited to meet with us BEFORE you submit an application if you'd like to see what owning a Greyhound would be like. GEGR originally planned to adopt out about 12 dogs a year and so far since March, 2002, we have adopted out 194 (as of 8/15/04)! We have met so many wonderful people along the way - as well as some very memorable and loving Greyhounds! We LOVE what we do and it shows! We are the original Greyt Expectations and we have the 'track record' and the experience to make wonderful matches between families and these noble hounds!
