'At his best, man is the noblest of all animals; separated from law and justice he is the worst.' (Aristotle) 'Hatred is never appeased by hatred in this world; it is appeased by love. This is an eternal Law.' (Buddha) 'I have striven not to laugh at human actions, not to weep at them, nor to hate them, but to understand them.' (Spinoza) 'The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts.' Erotic Evolution of Human Sexuality
Philosophy of Love & Sex, Nudes, Vintage Erotica

We hope you enjoy our provocative gallery of Renaissance & Impressionist Erotic Art Nudes and Vintage Erotica. These lovely, sexy pictures are printed with insightful, amusing and inspiring quotes on the Evolutionary Philosophy of Love, Sex and Human Sexuality. Our collection has evolved over the past few years from our Sexual Philosophy website, which is founded on the biological and cultural evolution of sex. (Warning, sexuality pages are adult only.)
Our central point, which relates to our use of sexuality images and quotes in this shop, is that we have evolved primitive sexual instincts, some of which are constrained by our cultural knowledge and customs (which change over time). Our view (which applies to feminism) is that we should cultivate both our mind and body in beautiful ways, founded on good knowledge of our evolution to create harmony between our instincts and our customs. As Freud famously writes, sex is central to our existence, and thus central to to our cultivation as complete human beings.
We hope you find our selection of beautiful minds and sensual bodies creative, artistic, intelligent, thought provoking and a little smutty! Enjoy!
