How products appear on CafePress

When you upload your designs, you are asked to describe your images with a title and tags. These words become the search-terms that CafePress uses to show your designs when customers search CafePress for product.

New designs can take up to 48 hours to appear in CafePress site search, and tagging an item will not guarantee high placement in search results.

Removing Designs from CafePress.com marketplace

To delete designs, you can log in to you account and go to Seller Dashboard, then visit the “Design Library” page in your account, and select the design. To delete the design and all its associated products, check the design's box and click the “Delete” button at the top of the page. To delete a single product, you can double click the design and drill down into the Design Detail page and toggle off the product you wish to delete from the marketplace.

If you created your products in a shop, individual products cannot be removed from the marketplace, but you can remove your entire shop from the marketplace.

Opting out of CafePress Marketplace

If you wish to remove your products and designs from the marketplace, please follow the steps below for each store you wish to opt out of the marketplace.

1. Sign In to your CafePress.com account
2. Choose "My Shops" at the left side of the page.
3. Select the Shop ID checkbox of the store you wish to opt out of the marketplace
4. Click the gear icon to "Edit Shop Profile"
5. Under Preferences, check the box labeled "CafePress Marketplace and Retail Channels Opt-out"
6. Under Preferences, check the box labeled "Private"
7. Click the “Save Changes” button

Linking to Seller Shops

When you create a shop, you give it a name and a shop ID. A shop name is the proper name of the shop. A shop ID is a unique and appears in the URL when someone visits your shop. Since your ShopID is part of the URL for your shop, it must be unique. No two shopkeepers can have the same ShopID.

For example, your shop name could be “My Awesome Shop”, and your shopID could be “myawesomeshop” and the URL for your customers to directly visit your shop would be https://www.cafepress.com/shop/myawesomeshop.
