How to get paid
CafePress offers two ways to receive your royalty payments – by check or PayPal. The minimum payment amount for a check to be issued is $100, whereas the minimum payment amount for PayPal is $25. Payment Schedule
If you sell products "for-profit" through your shop, you must provide accurate payee and taxpayer information to CafePress.com for payments to be made to you.
All accrued royalties are paid within 60 days of the month they were accrued. As we offer your customers a full 30-day money back guarantee, there is a 45 day "lag time" for royalty payments to account for returns and exchanges. Example: If you have $25.00 of accrued royalties in March, your royalty check will be sent out to you by the 15th of May.
Please be aware that if you earn less than the dollar amount selected as the payment threshold in the Payee Information section of your Account Management screen, then the amount will not be paid, but will accrue to your Account until it becomes equal to or greater than the Payment Threshold. CafePress.com will make a payment to you for such compensation no later than 60 days after the end of the month in which the total amount of accrued compensation may reach or exceed the Payment Threshold.
CafePress.com may, at its discretion, send you a payment before your accrued compensation reaches or exceeds the Payment Threshold.
Tracking Sales and Payments
Track your sales and payments using the sales reports in your account. To get to your sales reports, hover over your name in green bar at the top of the page, and chose “Reports”.
The Order Report provides information regarding the orders for your products. It is separated into three sections – Completed Orders, Pending Orders, and Cancelled Orders. The completed orders section shows details about orders that have been shipped to customers. The pending orders section shows details about orders currently being printed at our production facility. The cancelled orders section shows orders that have been cancelled.
The Product Report shows information regarding which products you have sold.
The Design Report shows information regarding which of your designs or images have been sold.
The Transaction reports lists all your CafeCash earnings, returns, and deductions. The transaction date is the date the order was completed and shipped. The release date is when the CafeCash is past its 30-day pending period.
The Sales Summary page lists your earnings for each of your shops, your pending CafeCash, any shop fees you have, and your CafeCash and deduction totals. It also lists your last payment. To see all your payments, visit: https://www.cafepress.com/sell/earnings

Taxes, tax-ids, and withholding
The United States Internal Revenue Service requires us to collect taxpayer information from individuals and companies that earn income from the CafePress.com service. The tax information we collect will be used solely to fulfill IRS requirements, and will not be used in any other manner. You will need to fill out the tax information regardless if you make a profit or not from your shop. If you do not want to make a profit, you can choose to not markup your products to earn royalty.
If you do not wish to use your social security number to receive your royalty payments, you can file for a EIN with the IRS at www.irs.gov.
If you fill out tax information, we do not withhold taxes from your royalty payment. If you are a US citizen and earn more than $600.00 in revenue per calendar year, we file form 1099 with the IRS.
If you do not fill out the tax information, or are not a US citizen and live abroad, we withhold tax and remit to the IRS on your behalf. There are processes for you to claim tax credits with the IRS if you are an American, or if your country has a tax treaty with the United States.
Proceeds for Charity
To donate your proceeds to a charity or someone else, request the charity’s tax ID or non-profit Tax ID number and enter it in the Payee Information page along with their address and phone number.
