• OK to create original artwork, designs, and slogans based on and/or inspired by the movie DIVERGENT provided they comply with these rules
• All images must be tagged with "DIVERGENTTHEMOVIE"
• No designs using DIVERGENT official logo will be approved.
  
  
  
  
• No use of official movie faction logos, but we encourage creating your own interpretations of the faction iconography.
  
  
  
  
• Your designs may include the phrases:
  • "Trust the test."
  • "Choose wisely."
  • "Faction before blood."
  
  
• No use of a submitting artist's signature or URL (i.e., website address), whether actual or fictional
• No use of the first or last names, the image, photo, likeness, silhouette, or other depiction of the actors, writers, directors, producers, or any other individual or company involved with the movie DIVERGENT, including Summit Entertainment.
• OK to use the names of characters from the movie DIVERGENT (i.e. Tris, Four, etc.); however, characters are limited to those that appear in DIVERGENT only.
• Designs should focus on events/characters solely from DIVERGENT. References to events, characters, or phrases that occur in any sequel (s) will not be approved.
• No use of the image of any real person (historical or present day)
• No use of other motion pictures or characters not contained in the movie DIVERGENT. No use of any content owned or controlled by a third party
• No advertising of any businesses, products, or services of a third party
• No profanity, vulgar, or hate language
• No use of other weapons, blood, or graphically violent imagesnot related to the movie
• No explicit sexual language, images, or graphics
• No reference to illegal drugs (i.e. drugs/medicine unrelated to DIVERGENT)
• No derogatory reference to race, gender, religion, mental handicap, obesity, or physical impairment
• No use of copyrighted or trademarked material from the movie or its promotional materials (e.g., no use of images from posters, advertisements or DIVERGENT website, unless specifically provided on the site)
• No images of existing DIVERGENT merchandise or consumer products (e.g., novels, posters, calendars, books, video games)
• No political party associations (e.g. Republican, Democratic)
• No infant, baby, toddler, or kids products, including bibs, blankets, hats, water bottles and apparel (you cannot create DIVERGENTinfant or kids products)
• No teddy bears/plush products (you cannot create DIVERGENT plush products).
• No undergarments, including thongs or boxers (you cannot create DIVERGENT undergarment products)
• No toiletry bags (you cannot create DIVERGENT toiletry products)
• No e-reader skins (you cannot create DIVERGENT Kindle or Nook products)
• No glassware intended for alcoholic beverages (you cannot create DIVERGENT shot glasses or beer steins)
• Lionsgate reserves the rights to reject or remove any images from the portal for any reason

Please Note: Generally approved designs will appear in the fan portal within 72 hours. Designs that are not in compliance with the Fan Portal Merchandise Rules will not be permitted in the fan portal.
