Adding Filters, Metal Strips and Adjusting Fit

Open the pocket on the side of the face mask and simply slide in one of the included filters.

Add Silicone Adjusters

We recommend using a bobby pin or a paper clip to thread the included silicone o-rings to adjust your custom face mask’s ear loop length.

Adjust Earloops

Slide the silicone adjuster pieces towards or away from the mask to loosen or tighten. Lock them in place once the fit is perfect.

What materials are these masks made from?

Our cloth masks consist of a 100% polyester water-resistant fabric, the inner layer is made from 100% water-absorbent cotton with a pocket opening for the replaceable PM2.5 carbon filter to fit as a middle layer. The over-the-ear elastic loops are made of polyester and spandex. The o-rings to adjust the sizing & fitting of the mask to your face are made of silicone.

Are these custom face masks washable and reusable?

Yes! You can machine wash your personalized cloth face coverings on a warm cycle with like colors. Hang drying is recommended or tumble-dry low heat. Filter must be removed prior to washing.

Do these face masks come with filters?

Our custom fabric face masks have a filter pocket in the cotton lining and come with a starter 2-pack of carbon filter inserts. Simply insert the filter into the pocket of the mask. The filters are made from meltdown fabric.

How do I adjust the size of the ear loops?

If your face mask is too large, you can use the included silicone adjuster pieces to make it fit better.

Use a bobby pin or paper clip to thread the earloops through the included silicone o-rings.
Repeat for the loop on the other side.
Try on the mask to check for fit while holding the silicone adjusters in place.
If the mask still fits too loosely, slide the silicone adjuster closer to the mask to tighten.
If the mask fits too tightly, slide the silicone adjuster away from the mask to loosen.

Can the filter be washed?

No. You should not wash the filter. Replace as needed. (after 2-3 days for all-day use or after a 4-5 days of occasional use). These masks use standard PM2.5 filters.

The CDC recommends that all Americans wear a mask when out in public places. If you are an essential worker and do not have the luxury of work from home to avoid infection our Face Masks are an ideal and essential accessory for you.
