An Affiliate Program allows you to place links to CafePress products or pages on your web site or blog. Each time a visitor comes to CafePress from one of your links and makes a purchase, you earn a commission for the sale.
An Affiliate Program allows you to make money by referring customers to our web site. You do this by placing links to CafePress products or pages on your site. Every time you refer a customer to us and that customer makes a purchase, you earn a commission. Our Affiliate Program administrator, Commission Junction, sends you a check for a percentage of the sales you referred to our site. It’s that easy!
Becoming an Affiliate is free, and you'll make money with very little effort. As an Affiliate, you can add value to the content of your site. We take the customer order and handle all payments. All you do is sign up, place links to CafePress products or pages on your web site or blog, and cash the checks you receive for sales made based on your referrals!
There are no fees of any kind for applying to and participating in the CafePress Affiliate Program and there is no minimum sales requirement.
We welcome CafePress members who have shops to participate, but Affiliate commissions will NOT be paid on products purchased directly from your shop. To be eligible to receive an affiliate commission on products, the link must go to a product on the CafePress Marketplace product page.
You can become an Affiliate even if you operate more than one web site. You can have multiple blogs or personal websites as an Affiliate. You can have one Affiliate account with us that will include all of these.
We also welcome Affiliates from outside the U.S. We're open to all countries, excepting those on the U.S. government trade embargo and sanctions lists.
Our Affiliate Program is a revenue-sharing program. It is not designed to help you increase traffic to your site; however, it enhances your site with content, so your user return rate may be higher.
As an Affiliate of CafePress, you are responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of your Affiliate web site or blog. You set up as many links to CafePress as you'd like, in the way that works best for your site.
CafePress will provide you with tools and support so you can make the most of your Affiliate web site or blog. And of course, we handle orders, shipping products, billing customers, paying your commissions, and managing customer service.
You can earn up to 15% Affiliate commission from all products purchased through the CafePress Marketplace from your affiliate link in the 7-day cookie period. Please note: if a customer clears or doesn't allow cookies on their web browser, the sales will not be tracked. Affiliate commission rates or "Net Qualifying Revenues" are base price revenues on the sale price (minus royalties, shipping and handling as well as any returns or credit reversals) of the qualified product a customer buys after linking to CafePress from your Affiliate web site or blog. Coupon sites will earn 5% commission.
A site will be classified as a coupon site if the main purpose of the web site is to find and share coupon codes. If your web site is not classified as a coupon site and one of your referred purchases uses a coupon code, you will still receive 15% commission.
All payments will be handled by our affiliate program administrator, Commission Junction, through CJ.com. There are no earnings limits. The more people you refer who purchase a CafePress product through the Marketplace, the more commissions you can earn.
Affiliate commissions will be paid on ALL products purchased from the CafePress Marketplace through your Affiliate program links. Affiliate commissions will NOT be paid on products purchased directly from CafePress shops. To receive affiliate commission on products, the link you establish must go to a product on the CafePress Marketplace product page.
For example, this links to a product within a CafePress Shop and will NOT receive affiliate commissions:
This link goes to the same product in the CafePress Marketplace and WILL receive affiliate commissions:
As a CafePress member with a shop, you can get affiliate commissions by linking to your own products IF you link to your products within the CafePress Marketplace. You cannot receive commissions for linking to products within your shop or any other shop.
If you would like to include your products in the CafePress Marketplace in order to link to them and receive affiliate commissions, you may do so by clicking on "Edit Shop Profile" in your account and unchecking the box for the field "Marketplace, Affiliate, and Shopping Channels Opt-out". If the box is already unchecked, your products are already opted in to the marketplace. To edit your settings, go to your store settings page: Your Account > Your Shops > [Shop ID] > Shop Profile.
Create Links and Banners
We will provide you with special "tagged" link formats to be used in all links between your Affiliate web site or blog and CafePress. These special "tagged" links permit for accurate tracking, reporting, and commission fee calculation. We have a variety of links available for you to use:
Search box link
General link to www.CafePress.com Home Page
Text links and Banners
It's easy to add links and banners to your site! For instructions on adding them, visit http://www.cj.com/publisher/deep-link-generator
. Be sure to check out our seasonal text links and banners too!
You should place links where they are easy for your site visitors to find, such as your homepage. Some areas you may want to place your links include your homepage, your navigation bar, and any other traffic areas. If you place the links in an easily accessible location on your site, your visitors will be more likely to make a purchase.
You may email your list of followers with an affiliate link that you create to link to your affiliate account. If one of your subscribers follows that link to CafePress.com and makes a purchase, you will make a commission.
You should update links to our products frequently. We are constantly adding new products, so you should create new links that fit the interests of your visitors.
You can place affiliate links on any or all of your social pages such as Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
You are also able to use product images from the CafePress Marketplace.
Once you have been accepted as an Affiliate, you will be given access to your Affiliate Account. Your account information can be modified through CJ.com. Please provide complete and accurate contact and payment information or you may not receive payment.
You may terminate your Affiliate Account at any time for any reason by sending an email to email@example.com indicating your desire to unsubscribe from the Affiliate Program.
