BARACK OBAMA BIOGRAPHY
Barack Obama is the Senator from Illinois with the funny name. He was born in paradise -- Honolulu, Hawaii -- to be exact, on August 4, 1961. He graduated from Columbia University and continued on to get his law degree from Harvard. Senator Barack Obama has the distinction of being the first African American president of the Harvard Law Review. Barack Obama was an Illinois State Senator from 1997-2004 and was elected as a Democrat to the United States Senate in 2004. He began his term in January, 2005. He is married to Michelle Robinson. They have two daughters, Malia and Sasha.
