Labrador_Art > Salute to Sirius
This sectioin is in honor of Sirius, the yellow labrador retriever bomb detection dog who lost his life in the attacks on the World Trade Center on 9-11-2001. Sirius was K9 Officer #17 of the Port Authority Police Dept. He had just finished his rounds with his handler, David Lim on the morning of the attack. More information can be found on my website at stonebrakerart.com
All of my profits from this section will be donated to the canine charities also listed on my website.
It is my hope that by offering these items for sale on CafePress...more people will learn about Sirius and his gift to humanity. Please share the link to this store and my website, and let's see if we can make the story of Sirius become familiar to more Americans.

Thank you to Walt Zientek for the use of his poem, entitled "The Promise".
He sits beside the Heaven's Gate
And heeds commands to "sit and wait".
A promise, "I'll be back," was set
And in due time it shall be met.
And in due time...it shall be met.
