Based on a Michelin 1947 road map with 3 levels of roads, town blocks & names, rivers, beaches (low & high tide lines), gridded hexes PLUS tons of info added: 20-meter contours, with ship ranges, forts, forests, swamps, drop/beach zones, bocage areas. It's only taken 7 years to draw! 4 scales have been uploaded: 1-mile-per-hex & 1-km-per-hex & the HUMUNGUS 600-meters-per hex maps... plus NEW scale 300-meters-per hex (this last scale has 17x44" beach maps printed as a pair, each 17x22"). We appreciate the worldwide support already given to this highly-specialized, gamer-focused mapping project.

Monty & Erwin, buy with confidence... GUARANTEED SATISFACTION ...I can't remember anyone asking for a refund in 10 years out of hundreds of maps sold! ORDER TODAY, hit the beach tomorrow!

NOTE: maps do not show bridges since data was unavailable. I handle similarly from my Judges Guild days, wargamers can randomly generate the actual crossing status using a chart like this (based on the 3 categories of roads provided cross-indexed with a 6 sided die roll):

Bridges come in 6 categories: I-VI, corresponding to maxium vehicle weight category it may carry.

  • # (1 through 3)=capable of handling all unarmored & tanks of weight category D6+# indicated (roll another six-sided dice and add number indicated) weight category roll of 7+ = VI.
  • R=capable of handling all unarmored vehicles and tanks of weight category roll D6 (no plus).
  • F=fordable by all vehicles per rules, roll for chance of vehicle miring: wheeled D10=3, Halftrack D10=2, Tracked D10=1; add at least 1 to chance to mire in rain and/or 2 hex proximity to marsh/German flooding of low lying areas
  • X=bridge destroyed or damaged D10x2, Fordable on D10 roll of 4 or less using miring chance above (if 5+ each platoon may search along stream for alternate fordable point; every 100 meters a chance of 1 every turn; a 10 platoon unit could search a kilometer of terrain in one turn with 10D10 rolled for 1's but will take 5 turns to reassemble at point if found).
