The four-color diamond carries codes for the fire (red), health (blue), reactivity (yellow) and specific (white) hazards. The numeric code ranges from 0 ( least) to 9 (most) dangerous and the symbol or letter in the white box refers to a specific danger. The numeric code has been extened to cover a broader range of hazards and the specific hazards have been broadened to include some more personal issues.
