As Linux users we can be a little smug when we hear windows users complaining about their constant reboots. In the *nix world, there's none of the ridiculous, continual rebooting they live with. In general, we only need to reboot when we're installing hardware--and don't feel like getting electrocuted!, and other very rare occasions.
