Grey Matter Media > Australia > Uluru: Deepening Red
In Australia's famous Outback, right in the middle of the Red Center, a monolith rises out of the desert. Uluru is what the local Aboriginals call it. It is a single, monolithic chunk of sandstone, turned on edge at nearly 90 degrees. And if you take a hundred pictures of it in a single day from a single place, no two pictures will be exactly alike. Here, the red is deepening as sunset moves toward dusk.
