The Smallest Unix Program

The smallest Unix programs are true and false: they do nothing but return a 0 (true) or non-0 (false). In standard Unix distributions these programs are thousands of bytes in size and make calls to one or more libraries.
When rewriten in assembly language, these programs become tiny. Here is the assembly language version for FreeBSD. The whole program consists of just seven bytes of code!
