For The Love Of Texas

1835 - 1836 - Texas Conservatives flag. One of the flags that flew at the Alamo for 13 days as less than 200 Texans held off a Mexican army of over 5,000 men. The 1824 on the flag was a reminder to the Mexican army of the treaty of 1824 which granted the Mexican citizens of Texas a constitutional bill of rights similar to that of American citizens. The Mexican government did not hold to the treaty. Mexicans(later to be called Texans),Americans, and freedom fighters from all over joined the fight for freedom.
This design honors the heros of the Alamo by displaying the names of the Alamo defenders written in white script.
