In the Known World of the Current Middle Ages Unser Hafen is Located within the Kingdom of the Outlands. Unser Hafen was founded in A.S. XXV (1990) after several years as a Shire, and several amusing attempts to get other names passed. Unser Hafen means 'Our Port' or 'Our Refuge' in German, although it was originally (according to the Outlands College of Heralds) submitted as 'Uns Haven' (unshaven) due to all the men in the Barony having beards.

The Founding Baron and Baroness of Unser Hafen were Sir Kevin MacKinnon and Ismenia Joslyn Wyndarneer.

In the modern world Unser Hafen is centered around Ft. Collins, Colorado. Unser hafen encompasses Larimer, Logan, Morgan and Weld Counties in Colorado.

There are two groups within the Barony of Unser Hafen: The Canton of Bofharrach, located in Greeley, Colorado. and the College of Rams Keep, associated with the Colorado State Universities Medieval Society.
