In 1995, I created a series of paintings of the Washington Park Arboretum in Seattle, WA. I painted six pieces in all, and gave this one to my future husband as his wedding gift. Seattle is beautiful in the fall, when the fall leaves and bountiful evergreens contrast against the pale blue sky. The arboretum offers a mixture of colors from the many varieties of trees.
