To inform the public about proper pet care for domesticated animals and to promote pet management practices that most benefit these animals.
My Story
As a mom and animal lover, it is important to me to have the right information about animals we keep as pets. For any pet owner, especially once you have a child in the family, it is important to know and to want to know more about the animal you decide to get. You need to be able to make an informed decision when your child comes to you and says, “Mom, I want a doggie,” or any other kind of animal. It is important to do a little research before you get the animal to make sure it is the right fit for your family and the right fit for the animal.
Some suggested questions to ask are 1) Is this animal/pet the right fit for our family, 2) Is this animals the right size for our home, 3) Do we have enough time in our busy schedule to take care of this animal, and/or 4) Do we have the financial resources to give this pet a good life in our home?
I created this website to support various non-profit organizations that focus on animal issues such as rescue and conservation.
