Sandro Botticelli c. 1445 – May 17, 1510. AKA Alessandro di Mariano di Vanni Filipepi. AKA "The Little Barrel". The portrait image used below is found within his "Adoration of the Magi" and is thought to be his self portrait. As for the two Simonetta Vespucci portraits, one flipped horizontally, Botticelli's reported unrequited love for her was the initial motivation for this.
