- Red Dragon
"This heraldic dragon is in the German style, the so-called Lindwurm, a dragon passant with raised foreclaw and tail unusually curling underneath. The Dragon was an ancient national symbol of the Britons and Welsh, but during the Middle Ages it came to represent sin in general and Paganism in particular."Leo Ruickbie
- Dragon of Notre Dame
"This design is based on a carved dragon on the wooden rood screen of Notre Dame cathedral in Paris. The low light made this a difficult photograph to take and I wasn't sure how it would turn out until the negatives were developed. But the colours are strong and the detail sharp. The dragon in Christian iconography represents the Devil, but let's rescue this innocent looking dragon from Chrisitan symbolism."Leo Ruickbie
