Synopsis
Have you noticed that all the other 2008 presidential candidates are tailoring their messages towards their extreme bases, or towards your senile grandparents? Have you noticed that all the other presidential candidates refuse to address the truly important issues of the day, preferring to throw red meat to their base instead of attempting to solve the problems that plague our great nation and this wonderful planet? Have you noticed that none of the other presidential candidates are able to answer any substantive questions with straight talk, and that they rely on you, the American people, blindly accepting their evasive non-answers, their semantic loop-de-loops and their empty platitudes? If you have answered yes to any of the above questions, then you should understand why my candidacy is a revolutionary and necessary step forward for our nation. You should embrace my direct, straightforward approach to addressing and solving the problems facing our country and our world. In short, you should become part of the Willard 2008 vanguard. My name is Brad Willard. Who is Brad Willard, you ask? The short answer is, I am. But for those of you who aren't Brad Willard, this is probably an uninformative and unsatisfying answer. So I'll start by telling you who I'm not. I'm not a Republican, I'm not a Democrat, I'm not a Communist, nor am I a Unitarian or a Shriner. I'm not a movie star, I don't play quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys or shortstop for the New York Yankees, and I'm not a politician. I am an American, and I have a distinct set of beliefs and a moral compass that guides me in my life. I consider myself to be an honest, trustworthy man, a man of conviction (but not convictions). I have grown as a result of the experiences life has thrown at me, and I have applied these lessons learned to try to better myself and those around me.
