As an artist with a great love for the simplest forms of art, I love to encourage my daughter (who will be 2 late this summer) in all things artistic. She has a great love for Play-Doh and coloring.
The drawings featured here are all done with good old crayons of all the various brand names (some store bought, many free from various restaurants). Ava colors with me on the same paper, adding fantastically to the fun of the drawing, in my opinion. Oh, and you might notice that it appears that we are drawing on the back of pieces of paper that have things printed on the front. This would, in fact, be a very astute observation. Because, you see, we are.
These drawings are originally featured on the
blog I keep for this specific purpose. Every penny of profit made from every sale of every product with a "Daddy and Ava Draw" design is going to be socked into Ava's college fund. Get that - my 2 year old is working for her college money! In a manner of speaking...
