People nowadays don't get enough adventure. They sit in their offices and foster their careers. They sit at home and relax with their families. While these things are great, many people need a healthy dose of spontaneity to function in life, and often our modern lifestyle does not permit this deviation from routine and ordinary. What many people idealize most about pirates is their ability to just pack up and go, wherever, whenever, and for whatever reason they like.
