Viking Art T Shirts and Gifts : Gold Viking Compass Disk

Viking Compass The Vegvisir (Direction finder) or (Viking compass) is an old Nordic symbol made of bindrunes. It is said that the Vikings believed that when the vegvisir is worn or tattooed on, the bearer was able to find their direction in foggy conditions or cloudy nights when the North star was not visible. The Icelandic singer Bjork has a tattoo of a vegvisir. I started designing my own stylized vegvisirs back in 2003. I thought they would look great on T-shirts.
