Synopsis

Volume 2 finds our three ladies with their unlikely friends facing even more perilous challenges. More long absent acquaintances find their way to the little bookstore. Kaida remains guarded against both sides of the law, while Yuki's reputation lands her in danger and Seiko continues questioning the nature of mankind (even the basest forms) as well as the hidden truths of her past. To add to the confusion, the ladies all find themselves distracted by old, current or future hints of romance -- or are distracting those around them into perilous jealousy. (This series is for the 13+ age group due to its violent nature.)
