Beowulf, A Gotlandic Hero

Lutefisk Themes
While lutefisk did not make its appearance until long after the close of the Viking Age, it is still a food many people of Scandinavian heritage have come to know and, er... love.

Dala Llama
The Dalahäst or Dalecarlian Horse is a well-known and beloved type of Swedish folk-art, featuring wooden horses with traditional designs, and sometimes other animals as well. The Dalahäst has in many ways become a symbol of Sweden. Occasionally craftsmen in the area make other small wooden animals in a similar style, including roosters and pigs, so why not a llama?
