"Let's Beat the Crap Out of Cancer"-When my son was diagnosed with cancer in January 2007, my family went on a very strange journey.
Thanks to the excellent care he received at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC, he is now in remission. UPDATE: As of June 16th, 2008, my son's cancer has returned. After 6 months of remission. Even more reason to help finance the "Potomac Powers". A program for Teenage cancer patients, helping them to cope, connect and stay upbeat. Going to the movies, a park, anything they can come up with. And it all needs to be financed! I am trying to raise money through the sale of my cancercrab products. Spread the word and buy a lot! All proceeds go to Children's National Medical Center's Teenage Program!
I guess it's time to update again. So far my son is doing well. He had aggressive chemo, cyber-knife treatment and is now in phase two of "maintenance". One more cycle of 28 days! And that WILL be it. Enough is enough. Twice Potomac Powers was able to take the teens out: Once to Dave&Buster (Thank you!) and once to Lucky Strike bowling in DC (Thank you too!). Both events were a great success! The teens and the nurses and social workers all had a great time! I could tell when I picked up my son. Buy more to finance more of these events!

Sadly, treatmetn did not work. My beautiful son is riddled with tumors and is sent home to die. We don't know if he has weeks, or maybe a few months.
within days of my last update my son died of cancer. i am devastated!
