My personal journey has been one of overcoming several life-threatening obstacles that have become the building blocks of who I am, and what I do today. Coming to terms with these obstacles and gaining new perspectives is what my message is really about. I've recently focused my energies in launching Willard Barth Enterprises and IEx2 Technologies, Inc. These companies were created with the mission of “Elevating Self-Awareness through creating technology and offering resources that Inspire, Educate and Empower.” The fact is, I've been involved in the study of human behavior, personal and spiritual development for over 18 years and have studied and worked with some of the most recognized people in these fields including: Anthony Robbins, Wayne Dyer, Bob Proctor, Larry Wilson, Dr. Michael Beckwith, Mary Manin-Morrissey, Maria Nemeth, Marianne Williamson, Dr Jean Houston, Doug O’Bryan and Bijan Anjemi. I consider myself more than just a businessman and Peak Performance coach. By combining my passion for music and life, my daily focus truly revolves around inspiring, educating and empowering people through my music, seminars, live training, audio products, software and one-on-one success coaching. My music has charted in the top 20’s overseas and has afforded me the opportunity to be onstage with world famous artists. I perform regularly with the Legendary Guitarist Les Paul at the Iridium Jazz club and have shared the stage with Tommy Shaw (Styx), Richie Cannata (Billy Joel), Joey Moranz (Paul McCartney), and Antonia Bennett. As a versatile performer, I've played the roles of vocalist, songwriter, guitarist, producer, arranger and manager. Having explored the many facets of the music industry, I've focused my life on being a singer/songwriter and I'm currently traveling the country promoting music from my solo album, as well as being a part of the acoustic duo “Twinz”. Having completed a solo album entitled "Coming Home" with award-winning producer Plinky Giglio (Dove Awards Album of the Year '94 and '95), I've embarked on a promotional venture which took me across the country. My music has been compared to Seal, Steely Dan, Richard Marx, Phil Collins, Santana, Michael Bolton, Clay Aiken and Jon Secada with lyrics that take the songs to a whole other level - being described as a mixture of smooth jazz, pop and blues topped off with inspiring, spiritual lyrics. Promoters have said…. “If you enjoy music with meaning, you will enjoy material from his album "Coming Home". The music is uplifting while the lyrics inspire listeners to take the next step in their own personal journey.” My dedication to music grew out of a unique and difficult childhood. At the age of 8, I lost my left leg to cancer. In an attempt to show the world and myself that I was no different than anyone else, I lettered in junior high wrestling, in varsity football as a place kicker, and was one of the first known licensed amputee motorcyclists in central Pennsylvania. But underlying all the heroics was pain and resentment over my situation. After awhile, alcohol and drugs became the controlling substances in my life. However, I was one of the lucky ones, and eventually I reached out for help. In an effort to reevaluate my life, I made my first attempts at song writing. Since that time, I've been on a quest to carry my music and message to whomever will listen, hoping it will help them through their own pain, recognizing their own inner strength and giving them hope that will allow them to find their way. For the past 18 years I've not only been actively involved in the music industry, I've also performed as nationally recognized Inspirational Speaker, Author, Success Coach and Founder of Willard Barth Enterprises, IEx2 Technologies, Inc. and the Neuro-Dynamic Institute. I'm also the creator of The Desktop Life Coach Software, The Direct2MyClient Marketing System, as well as Neuro-Dynamic Design, and Neuro-Dynamic Profiling. Through my company, Hawkeye Entertainment, I've assisted with the organization and promotion of events that have included people such as; Les Paul, Sid Bernstein, Jerry Love, Hillary Yager, Joan Jett and Roger Daltry.
