Thank you for visiting The Maritime Heritage Project Ship Store! We're uncrating items daily. Find what you're looking for yourself or great gifts for your friends. You'll find unique merchandise with The Maritime Heritage logo on t-shirts, sweatshirts, mugs, posters, stickers, and more.
The 12-year-old Maritime Heritage Project is a non-profit honoring men, women, captains and their ships and crew for enduring commitment in protecting shorelines and in moving merchandise, livestock, and people around the world under unpredictable and often dangerous conditions. While its focus is San Francisco Bay during the 1800s, it has continued to add ports of the world to its pages. Shopping here helps our project expand. For more than a decade, the site has been considered a valuable reference, receives more than 20,000 visitors with 47,000 page views and 125,000 hits per month. The body of work is well-regarded by researchers, educators (4% of all page views), genealogists, and professionals in the maritime field. Comments include: "There is no other site like it in the world," "I use your site as a resource for our docents," "my students research your site for their history papers," and "I've been searching for my great-great-grandfather for years; I found him on your site."
We are opening our store with our newest logo, which is a beautiful design by Eileen Alexander shown above.
We are also having some of our favorite designs reworked in order to include them on products as the store grows.
