History: The Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corpororation filed incorporation papers in December 1929. Grumman opened for business on January 2, 1930 in a rented garage on the south shore of Long Island, in the town of Baldwin, New York.
The company, named after Leroy Grumman, went on to become an American icon of aviation engineering. Perhaps best known for landing man on the moon with the Lunar Excursion Module or the feared F-14 Tomcat fighter aircraft, TheGrummanStore allows for this rich history that has spanned nearly 80 years to live on today!
