Ever since I created the nostalgia Web site for The Garret Coffee House (http://www.thegarret.info/) people have been asking me where they can get Terrea Lea's music on CD and I've had to tell them there were no commercial CDs available. After nearly four years of that, I asked Terrea for her permission and partnership in producing a CD using tracks from her vinyl albums. "Terrea Lea, By Popular Demand" is the result of that effort. I hope her old fans find it, fans yet to be discover it, and all get as much pleasure from her music as I have in the 40 years I've known her. DISCLAIMER: The tracks on this CD were copied from vinyl records that are between 30 and 50 years old. We did the best we could to clean up the inevitable crackle and pop of scratches acquired over the years, but it was impossible to eliminate it all without damaging the basic performance. Rather than do that, we left some in.
