It's tough being the world's policeman. Whether it's providing military aid, torture training or all out carpet-bombing, the job is never done. So much so, that the US has had to commit troops, military support or 'military aid' to dozens of conflicts in the past half century. Many of these conflicts were engineered or escalated by Washington. Others were the work of murderous dictators, who, as long as they remained on-side, were faithfully funded and supported in their various bids to wipe out their own population.
