This second album by SUTURE (initial release 1998 - remastered version 2006) is a 73-minute amalgamation representing the duo's first four years. It features songs from SUTURE's well reviewed 45-minute cassette demo (released 1995), remixes, the occasional transmogrification, and new material recorded after their first live show in December 1996. Moving beyond the "noise" phase of the '95 recordings, the tracks on this disc flow from hardcore industrial to darkwave to analog beats to ambient pieces to noise fests and more. SUTURE's hard-hitting lyrics and uncompromising musical experimentation are an aggressive breath of fresh air in a world where style takes precedence over substance.
