Washing and caring for your new gear is as important as using it! It may be hard to keep your new shirts sharp or the beer stein scratch free. Following these simple instructions can greatly increase the lifespan and the crispness of your new designs. If the items are for gifts it may be useful to print this page and give it along with the gift.
Shirt Care
- First Wash
- You might notice that when you receive the new shirts they feel a bit stiff and may have a light border or glow around the outside of the image. Do not worry! They soften up and that border will disappear after the first wash. Turn the shirts inside out and wash them in cold water. Do not use bleach or any sort of bleach alternatives! Set water level to the lowest setting. Be sure to wash the shirt by itself, sometimes they may bleed. Tumble-dry with low heat, and if necessary warm iron them inside out.
- Normal Washing
- Warm or Cold water wash only! Again, No Bleach or Bleach Alternatives. Turn the shirt inside out while washing, and tumble dry on normal dryer settings.
- Ironing
- Always iron a shirt inside out and NEVER iron on the image. Doing so can burn the image and fade or ruin the design.
Stein Care
- Washing
- Our custom beer steins are dishwasher and microwave safe. If you want to hand wash, we recommend using a soft cloth with soap and water. Do not use any sort of abrasive cloth or scraper as this could scratch the design as well as make it fade.
