This section of our shop has been provided for members of the RBIA to purchase goods bearing the logo of the Association. Although it is established for the convenience of our members to purchase products bearing the Association's logo as well as 'airborne' products from our other sections, non-member visitors that are interested in our products may also purchase them if they so wish.
The Association logo and name are internationally copyrighted with ownership vested in the Association, as such the international convention on copyright applies.
Please note that a 'Trademark' application has been applied for and lodged with the appropriate authority which provides international trademark protection to both the image (in all its forms) and the name of the Association, as such the image and name are 'Trademark Pending'.
The logo and the name are used with authority of the Association.
The Association has been in existence since 1967, it is an international association with members throughout the world with the main core of membership being in Australia, the United States and in the United Kingdom.
The RBIA has four classes of membership as follows:
Full Member; Associate Member; Social Member; and Honorary Member.
The requirement for 'Full Member' status is that you are parachute 'Wings' qualified in the military. Associate Membership requires service in the military only (no requirement for 'wings' qualification), Social Membership is for those applicants that have not served in the military but are of good standing and who support the objectives of the Association. Honorary Membership cannot be applied for and is only granted by unanimous decision of the Management Committee.
We welcome membership inquiries and they can be emailed to the shop owner or alternatively an email can be sent to the President,Major Rudi Poldoja for an application form and further membership information.
Airborne & Special Forces.Com is the designer and producer of the Association's artwork for the Association's official stationery as well as for special event items.
A portion of funds from the sale of RBIA products in this section of our shop is provided to the Association. The remainder of funds is used to update and maintain this section of the shop.
