Cute monsters seems to be in fashion these days, and I decided to try my hand at making a few. This little blue monster was one of the first cute monster designs I made, and I posted him up and largely forgot about him. Then one day, the thing that your art teachers tell you will never happen actually happened to me: A design firm stumbled about my cute little blue monster illustration and asked me to do some work for them. I can't say who or what the project was for, but it was a neat experience, and afterward I decided that this particular monster had magic powers, and that he brought good luck. After that I stuck him up here on CafePress, hoping that maybe if people had some t-shirts or gifts featuring a cute, lucky monster, they would experience some luck, too.
