The Cricket World Cup is one of the world's largest and most prestigious sporting events and takes place every 4 years. This year Cricket World Cup 2007 will be played in the Caribbean. The cricket tournament begins on March 13th at Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica and ends with the final on April 28th at Kensington Oval, Barbados.
The anticipated television audience alone is approximately 2.2 billion viewers from some 200 countries. Approximately 100,000 people are expected to visit the Caribbean and attend the various Cricket Matches which will be held throughout 9 countries - Jamaica, Antigua, Barbados, Grenada, Guyana, St. Kitts, Saint Lucia, St. Vincent, and Trinidad.
