We present to you our original version of the famed Gadsen Flag. This design is usually referred to simply as "Don't tread on me". We have left the apostophe out of Don't (Dont), because that is the more traditional way. Mr Philip Gadsen, South Carolina delegate to the Second Continental Congress, presented his flag to the Congress in 1776. It was used by the United States Navy at the Battle of Fort Nassau on New Providence Island. The first battle of the US Navy.
