Synopsis
The style is somewhere between Roald Dahl, Jack Kerouac and Stephen Hawking. It's a story about entrepreneurship, escapism, nudity, science and China. For people with interest in these areas, all of which are seeing growth, there is the very tangible possibility of an enjoyable and satisfying read.The book records an account of a bitter young entrepreneur who travels to China to recover from his most recent failure. Having removed himself from the strains of business and Britain to make a simple life teaching kindergarten, he finds irresistible opportunities calling again. In particular is his newest venture- Blind Photography, a nude photographic service that provides a thrill and a confidence-building experience for the ladies who lunch of Shenzhen, the commercial Mecca of new China. However, a casual curiosity about the holy grail of science- The Theory of Everything threatens to disrupt him. Nothing is impossible, only more or less likely, so everything that can happen, happens. As demonstrated by Shooting Curves, to be impossible, is not in fact possible. It's well known that given enough attempts, a monkey will write the works of Shakespeare. However, what happens when it types The Theory of Everything and what if that monkey is you?
