LEAP YEAR GIFTS, the reason we've made them:

I have a friend whose birthday is February 29th. She is sweet-spirted about the endless questions/jokes that surround her date of birth, but it must be tiresome (I find it tiresome and it's not even MY birthday). So I decided to design a special line of Leap Year gifts and t-shirts just for her -- and every other Leap Year Baby.

These Leap Year Gifts feature some of some her favorite Leap Year sayings, comments, and quotes (and her favorite Leap Year mascot, the frog). I've made sure to include Leap Year t-shirts and gifts for both actual Leap Years and those three other years when her birthday isn't on the calendar.

Leap Year Birthday

True "Leap Year Babies" are babies born on February 29th and only on February 29th.

Being born on any other day of a Leap Year is like being born in any other year -- your birthday will still be on the calendar NEXT year. Leapies/Leapers are the special babies that are born on that ONE day (February 29th) every four years.

When is the Next Leap Year?

The next Leap Year is 2012.
