Here is the full text: Dear Brandon, I got your phone message and I wanted to let you know that everything is fine. I do think, however, that in light of recent events it would be best if you didn't come to Oakland in April, since I have some rather sudden news: Numerous changes have come about in the last month: I've moved, gotten back together with M-------, two weeks ago, and just was proposed to over the weekend. I accepted and am very happy with what the future will hold. I also quit graduate school on Tuesday and started working the next day in a local rather upscale cafe. We are going to move to Switzerland in September, and so we will be getting a civil ceremony before that, probably in the next couple of weeks. I hope that you will come around to be happy for me after some time. I wish you all the best.
