 STORE BIO
Thank you for supporting the San Francisco/Marin County Chapter of the House Rabbit Society. We are a tax-exempt, nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing domestic rabbits who are facing euthanasia. Did you know that, according to the ASPCA, rabbits are the third most frequently euthanized animals in the USA, right behind cats and dogs?

We are passionate about finding permanent, loving, new homes for rescued rabbits and educating people about the joys of living with rabbits as indoor companions. You can help by adopting a rabbit from a shelter or rescue group and not breeding or buying rabbits or wearing fur.

100% of the proceeds from this site directly benefit animals in need. Your purchases (and donations) allow us to save more animals and provide needed medical care and TLC.

Tax deductible contributions and reliable volunteers are always gratefully welcomed and thoroughly appreciated. Thanks for visiting us and REMEMBER...

"Reflection Of Compassion", (Aijo-no-kagami) is a lovingly, commissioned series of 5 intricate watercolor illustrations based on the ancient legend of the rabbit in the moon. Across cultures, and in various forms, the tradition of an image of the rabbit in the moon tells the tale of selfless sacrifice and unconditional love. Today, instead of seeing a man in the moon, many cultures see a rabbit. They smile and remember the spirit of the brave, little rabbit who gave his life so that others may live.

Each original design features a special rescued rabbit who has either been adopted from SaveABunny or is still patiently waiting to find his/her forever home. Click here to see our adoptable rabbits.
