Who better to create running art than a runner. Coreen resides in Pompey, NY and has produced incredible, lifelike art works, depicting every aspect of the world of running for over 15 years. She is a National, Masters 800m medalist and this year's 2006, 800m National Outdoor Champion. She was also a member of the 4x400 relay team that broke the world's records for both the indoor 4 x 400 and the indoor 4x 800 and the US record for outdoor 4 x 800. Competing in the 50-54 age group , Steinbach finished the mile in a time of 5:36.4…a personal best! She loves to compete and her passion for running has evolved into a unique, artistic talent.

As a child, she loved to draw, and in 1990, created her first painting- a group of runners. The first painting was well received locally and it encouraged her to continue her dream. Over 15 years later Coreen has sold her running art to individuals and corporations worldwide. “As a runner myself, I am continually inspired artistically by the sport”, says Steinbach. “The physical beauty of color and movement, the emotional beauty of effort and achievement, I strive to convey these emotions in my paintings to all who love our sport”.
