The River Otter Preservation Society was founded back in 1994. The mission was to education the importance of protecting and preserving this species for future generations. The Society focuses the bulk of its time and research to the North American River Otter, Lutra Canadensis. We hope that in time every state in the USA will stop the hunting, trapping and killing of this species.
