Rocket City Bears Merchandise

The Rocket City Bears is a social organization serving the North Alabama area. It was created to bring together people who are bears, bear friends, or bear admirers for friendship, fellowship, and shared common interests. Its purpose is to sponsor and promote social and recreational activities for its members.
Our merchandise features the club's logo. Most of the shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies feature our logo on the back, with the bear pride flag on the front pocket area.


The club has two recurring activities every month. The first is a dinner at a different restaurant in the Huntsville area on the first Sunday of every month at 6pm. The second is a meeting and bar night for socializing and conducting club business. This occurs at 8pm on the second Saturday at Club Ozz. We occasionally hold other activities such as pot luck dinners, video nights, and camping trips.


Wondering what a bear is? For every bear that you ask, you'll get a different answer. For most, a bear is a man with face or body hair, usually both. Many also consider bears to be somewhat bigger in girth. The defunct Bear Magazine described it as "masculinity without the trappings". Still others consider it a playful attitude or liking to cuddle and paw. Others think of it as someone who appears more masculine. While these are the common starting points, you should find and make your own definition for what is a bear.
